I was lying in bed last night, a thought came to me… do we all really know what Bach Flower Remedies are?
I absolutely love these remedies and am passionate about helping people understand how to use them for self-help. Yet, many people haven’t discovered them, or perhaps they’ve heard of them but aren’t sure what they actually do.
So today, I’d like to answer this question: what Bach Flower Remedies are… and what they are not.
What Bach Flower Remedies Are
100% natural and safe for everyone, at any stage of life.
Discovered in the 1930s in England by Dr. Edward Bach, a physician, homeopath, and bacteriologist who wanted a method of healing that was completely safe, simple, and suitable for self-help.
Free from side effects and non-habit forming.
There are 38 flower essences, each addressing a specific emotional state.
When you take the remedy that matches your emotion, the negative state gently fades, and the corresponding positive quality re-emerges. For example, Gentian helps with discouragement, bringing back optimism.
By restoring emotional balance, they support overall well-being.
They come in liquid drop form, made of water, the healing vibration of the plant, and a preservative like brandy or vegetable glycerin—nothing else.
Remedies can be taken individually or combined to reflect a person’s current feelings. With the 38 remedies, there are millions of possible combinations. 💜

What Bach Flower Remedies Are Not
They are not medicine and do not treat physical diseases.
They are not drugs or sedatives, they won’t numb your feelings or change your personality.
They are not addictive and do not create dependence.
They are not a replacement for medical or psychological care when needed.
They are not vitamins, herbs, or essential oils.
They are not based on scent or chemistry, but on the energetic imprint of the flower.
They are not instant “happy pills”; they gently support emotional balance over time.
They are not one-size-fits-all; different people call for different remedies.
They are not tied to religion or belief systems, in fact, they work wonderfully even on babies, pets, and plants.
I hope this gives you a quick, but clear insight into Bach Flower Remedies and inspires you to explore them for yourself.
