Why Aren’t Bach Flower Remedies Working for Me?
This is something I hear and read all the time in support groups. And there can be different reasons for it.
In my experience with friends, family, and many clients, I have seen over and over again that once the remedies are taken in the right way, an emotional shift occurs. It is noticeable. It is powerful. It is truly transformative.
Before giving up on the remedies, I gently invite you to read this blog, and then perhaps try again, with a new awareness.
For this, you just need to ask yourself 3 simple questions:
1. Did I choose the remedies with awareness?
Ask yourself: “How am I feeling right now?”
Bach Flower Remedies are chosen based on your personal, unique emotional state in the present moment. So, especially if you bought pre-mixed combinations (for example, one for sleep), it is possible they may not fully resonate with you.
In Bach Flower Remedies, there is no “one size fits all.”
Dr. Bach was very clear: we treat the person, not the symptoms. This means the selection must be based on how you feel, rather than simply on what the problem appears to be.

2. Am I being consistent in taking the remedies?
A personal mix often needs to be taken 4 times a day for at least 21 days to begin noticing an emotional shift.
Each person responds in their own way. Sometimes - especially with short-term or passing emotions - you may feel a shift within minutes (for example, when taking the remedies in a glass of water for a transitory state).
But when it comes to deep-rooted feelings, the remedies work over time. They gently support you in becoming aware of what you feel and in processing it, layer by layer.
These emotional build-ups did not happen overnight. And the most natural and safe way to dissolve them is to do so gradually, step by step, at your own pace.
This is exactly what Bach Flower Remedies are designed to do.

3. Am I taking the remedies the right way?
There are two main ways to take the remedies:
In a glass of water (usually for transitory emotions)
In a personalized mix (more suitable for long-term or deeper emotional patterns)

I hope this feels helpful and supportive.💜
